It's officially summer. Enjoy the heat and humidity this week. Right now the total monthly precipitation for Chanhassen is 2.31 inches. With the threat of severe weather in the forecast, I don't think we can count on a nice, slow, soaking rain any time soon. In June, the monthly average is a little over 4 inches. We may get some rain this week to boost the total amount, but there's a good chance we'll end up behind the average at the end of the month next week.

As always, be water-aware - Don't water your lawn during daytime hours, only water when you need to and only water your lawn (not your driveway or street).
