The city of Chanhassen hosts an annual Arbor Day event. This year's event was tree planting in Lake Ann Park. Between 30 and 40 volunteers planted 19 trees, according to Jill Sinclair, the city’s environmental resource specialist. The trees included bur oaks, bicolor oaks, northwoods maple, fall fiesta maple, hackberry, and Princeton elms.
