Gasoline prices up in past week
Average retail gasoline prices in Twin Cities have risen 6.9 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $3.50/gallon yesterday. This compares with the national average that has fallen 0.6 cents per gallon in the last week to $3.46/g, according to gasoline price website TwinCitiesGasPrices.com. Legislation costs county $1.4 million
A legislative change that was expected to cost Carver County around $1 million will actually cost closer to $1.4 million, County Administrator David Hemze said Tuesday. Mediacom offers digital converters for older TVs

County administrator releases final budget recommendation
Carver County Administrator David Hemze has released his recommended 2012 budget, according to a county news release.
